The oldest of the ‘Olds’ (Old Overholt and Old Grand-Dad) from the Beam Suntory stable. This is a straight rye American whiskey that was aged for six years and bottled in 1942. It was notorious for being the so-called ‘medicinal’ alcohol of the US Navy during World War II.
